Just when you think you have a full house...

Okay, a short while ago we got 2 new birds...since their arrival, our paraleets Jon and Ponch have been absolute darlings, adding to the noise our other 4 birds add when the sun comes up. Today the parents went to Marathon to fix the van, and shop, and I was left here to run the restaurant. Well, they arrive at 7 pm, and I discovered that Mom had aquired yet another bird....a beautiful Lovebird, named Bubby (it could be spelled bubi, my Mom didn't ask). We believe it is a female, or at least thats what the pet store owner told Mom. She was hatched last July and is soo adorable...with green feathers on most of her body, and peach coloring on her head, and an amazing electric blue color under her wings and on her tailfeathers. Bubby seemed really taken with me, and would chirp and seem agitated whenever I left the room, but when I came back, she'd calm right down. Mom says shes mine, so now I have 3 birds. I feel ready for these new pets. Already they've made me exceptionally happy in recent days. So I'm pleased that they will be with me when ever I move out on my own again. My goal is to make them super tame, so they'll sit on my shoulder like Casey does, and hopefully they'll appreciate my music like Casey does. I do like my little birdies, and I look forward to buying all the latest birdie accessories for them. What can I say? I love Gods Little Critters. Except cockroaches. Yuck.
