Is the cats meow! My God, why didn't I get it sooner? I've been spending the past few days downloading some sweet tunes! This Stranger is at the moment, one happy camper! I am looking at buying myself an Mp3 player, but I'm also entering to win an iPod Nano, cause a good friend of mine says its the shit..(translation-its fantastic). I need to work on getting up to speed on the latest technology....seems like every few months theres something new...just last week I saw an advert for Scooba, a robot that washes your floor (to be used after Roomba I'm sure). What next tho? Robot butlers? Hmm..that would be cool actually...could answer the phone and deal with annoying telemarketers, clean house, make me some chocolate chip cookies...ahh...the list is endless! This could happen sooner than we think....I don't mind, just as long as these robots don't start to think for themselves...then we could see a world overrun by them...a robotic revolution whereby us mortals are relagated to the rank of slave and made to do the robot dance on demand for our electronic masters' enjoyment. Or worse...the Macarena!
Whoa...okay...I went off there didn't I? Anyhoo...seriously...how much technoloy do we need at our fingertips before we finally say," okay I'm happy now"? Never. I see advancements comng to the point we all know where everyone else is on any given day. Kinda scary when I think about it. George Orwell's 1984 may soon come to pass.... (shudders)
Oh well, what the hell can we do? I know what I'm gonna do....I'm gonna download more tunes! Cheers!
